Mahdi Safarnejad, PhD, is Head of AI & Data at Huma Therapeutics, where he leads the teams building the AI and data platforms behind regulated digital health products deployed at national scale. He brings more than 17 years of experience in software engineering and artificial intelligence, with the last five focused on moving AI-powered products from research into production in regulated environments. He has also published in top-tier academic venues such as the American Journal of Preventive Cardiology and serves as a Lead Mentor at Techstars London. His focus is turning emerging technology into scalable products that deliver measurable value.
